Attar — India’s traditional fragrance
Attar is a pure essential oil distilled from flowers, wood or resins, then aged for years. True attars are expensive (Ruh Gulab from Kannauj costs ₹40,000+ per 10g). Attar is religious, ceremonial, and deeply cultural in India.
When to wear attar

Perfume (EDP) — the daily workhorse

Deodorant — hygiene, not fragrance

Is attar better than perfume?
